Marigold Wealth founder and CEO Arvind Dutta recently shared a post on X claiming that the United Arab Emirates (UAE), especially Dubai, is an ideal place to settle down. Mr Dutta supported his claim with several reasons, emphasizing that the country has one of the best infrastructure in the world. The businessman praised the UAE’s impressive security system, emphasizing that it is crime free and extremely safe for women.

Easy to get retirement visa

Dutta also said how one can easily get a Golden Visa or Retirement Visa for UAE. He wrote on X, “The best place to settle is – UAE and especially Dubai. You are eligible for Golden Visa if you buy a property worth AED 2Mn (₹4.5Cr). Anyone above 55 years of age can avail of the Retirement Visa if they invest AED 1 Mn in a property.”

Mr. Dutta’s post has gone viral, in which many people have shared their different opinions in the comment section. While many people agreed with his sentiment, some others mentioned Dubai’s “extreme heat”. When a user mentioned Dubai’s hot weather and lack of greenery, Dutta replied that the city has more greenery than New Delhi.

Another person wrote, “No doubt it is very safe and has best-in-class infrastructure, but you will always miss your friends and social life.” A third agreed with him, saying, “It is.” East and West are the best of both worlds. The facilities are the facilities of the West, the comforts of the East and being close to India. Nothing can be better than this.
