Heartiest congratulations to the RCB Women’s Team for winning the WPL. It would be a fantastic double if the RCB Men’s Team won the IPL which is long overdue. Good Luck.

After winning the title, RCB women’s team captain Smriti Mandhana said that after last year’s failure in the Women’s Premier League, she got full support from the management. He said the 2023 campaign “taught us a lot of things.”
If we talk about the match, Delhi Capitals won the toss and decided to bat first. After this, there was a partnership of 64 runs for the first wicket between openers Shefali Verma and Meg Lanning. However, after this Delhi’s batting faltered and the team lost 10 wickets within 49 runs. Sophie Molineux made a comeback for Bangalore and she gave the initial blow to Delhi by taking three wickets in one over. After this Delhi lost wickets at regular intervals. Shreyanka Patil took 4 wickets for 12 runs for Bangalore.
In response, Bangalore batted cautiously and achieved its target. Smriti Mandhana played an inning of 31 runs in 39 balls for Bangalore. Apart from them, Sophie Devine played an unbeaten inning of 32 runs and Elise Perry led the team to victory by playing an unbeaten inning of 35 runs. This is Bangalore’s first title. The team reached the final of the Women’s Premier League for the first time and won the title. The men’s team of Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise has not been able to win the IPL title since the beginning of IPL 2028.
