Millions of years old ‘monster’ was buried in the ground, when it came out during excavation, I was shocked, this special part was very big!

There are many unsolved secrets buried underground, about which revelations keep coming every day. One such major discovery took place in Spain when tracks were being laid for the Madrid-Levante high-speed rail network (AVE). The land was also being excavated for this. In the same sequence, the laborers working there suddenly started finding big bones. Seeing those bones, the workers lost their senses and screamed in fear. It must have seemed like which monster has come out? However, after this a team of paleontologists was called there. After investigation, the expert said that this is a new species of dinosaur that existed on earth 75 million years (7.5 crore years) ago, a special part of which is very large. The report related to this was recently published in the journal Communications Biology.

It is said that the matter dates back to 2007, when the work of laying tracks for the Madrid-Levante high-speed rail network (AVE) was going on in Spain. During that time, paleontologists had found more than 12 thousand fossils from there. All those fossils were examined. Some fossils were connected to each other. In such a situation, when scientists started assembling a fossil, they found out that it was a new species of dinosaur that existed on earth millions of years ago. Not only this, many pages of history came to light from these old bones. These have made it possible to identify many unknown species, as well as help researchers understand what life was like at the end of the Cretaceous period. Portuguese paleontologist Dr. Pedro Mocho, who is leading the team that discovered the dinosaur, has named the new sauropod discovered near Cuenca, Spain, as Cuencasaura pintiquiniestra.

“The study of this specimen allowed us to identify for the first time the presence of two different species of Saltasaurids in the same fossil area,” said Dr Pedro Mocho, who works at the University of Lisbon, Portugal. He further said that these dinosaurs of slightly smaller height adapted themselves to the environment. Physically this dinosaur is quite small, but its neck is very long. In such a situation, it could easily reach the high branches of the trees. “Cuncasaura pintiquiniestra is one of the most complete sauropod skeletons found in Europe, including cervical, dorsal and caudal vertebrae, part of the pelvic girdle and limb elements,” said Dr Mocho.
